1.Product Overview

The most important factors in the gain of a bifacial module are the reflectivity of the surface and the mounting height of the module.The direct radiation and scattered light from the sun will be reflected when it reaches the ground, and some of it will be reflected to the back of the module.

Multiple factors can affect the efficiency of solar panels. Maybe one of the most important is the fill factor (FF). This is parameter defines the shape of the I-V characteristic curve of a solar cell and is generally associated with the quality of a solar cell. FF is generally represented as the equation below:

Above we can see a picture of the I/V characteristic curve of a solar cell where 3 points can be highlighted. The Voc, which represents the open circuit voltage (maximum possible voltage of the cell), Isc, which represents short-circuit current (maximum possible current of the solar cell) and MPP, which is the maximum power point of the curve.
